During the week of March 3-7, 2025, experienced teachers Noris Friedman and Harlan Gilbert will teach a pedagogy block on Grades 3, 4, and 5.

Noris will present a picture of the child in Grades 3, 4, and 5: what the suitable eurythmy curriculum is, and how it meets and supports the child's developmental needs. The emphasis will be on the how in presenting and building up of material.

The goal for the course is not only a receiving of information but also very much an interactive, alive working together in the learning and understanding of the child in Grades 3, 4, and 5, and how eurythmy meets them as growing, evolving individuals.

Harlan will take Steiner's seminal texts on pedagogy, including Roots of Education, to work on the curriculum of those grades in relation to the child's consciousness and needs.

The course is part of the pedagogical training at the eurythmy school and is open for eurythmists.
