Eurythmy Spring Valley is part of the Threefold community of anthroposophical institutions and initiatives. We are located in the northwestern suburbs of New York City, about 30 miles from midtown Manhattan.
The Threefold community is home to Green Meadow Waldorf School (pre-K to 12th grade), the Otto Specht School (Waldorf education for children with special needs and learning differences), Endeavor 21+ (educational, vocational, and life skills opportunities for adults), Sunbridge Institute (Waldorf teacher training), the Fiber Craft Studio (research and training in handwork and fiber arts), the Steiner School of Speech Arts (speech formation training), and the Pfeiffer Center at Threefold Community Farm (practice, research, and teaching of biodynamics).
The Threefold Branch and the nearby congregation of the Christian Community Church help carry the community's festival and spiritual life. The neighboring Fellowship Community, an intergenerational community dedicated to care for the elderly, provides volunteer opportunities and festival life.
Amenities for visitors and residents include the Hungry Hollow Co-op, Threefold Café, Threefold Pond, and Holder House, a 40-room student dormitory.
The institutions of the Threefold community regularly host lectures, workshops, and conferences on social, cultural, educational, and artistic subjects. Rockland County and the Lower Hudson Valley offer abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation and cultural life. And of course New York City is close at hand and accessible by public transportation.
